A Brief Timeline of Mostly True Events

Baby Trahern arrives legend has it with a slightly wet pack of jumbo crayons
Trahern goes to the Mr. Knowzit Show to support his older brother's Magic Debut. When asked by the host what he wants to be when he grows up, Trahern answered, "An Artist."
Trahern reminds his older brother that gluing black paper on the window of his Star Wars X Wing Fighter and burning the wings with matches is NOT art, not even if it is suppose to make it look more like the movie.
Trahern was accepted into the South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts.
Trahern graduated from Heathwood Hall Episcopal High School.
He studied art at the Rhode Island School of Art and Design. Cold place, Rhode Island.
Trahern went on to receive his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Ringling School of Design, majoring in illustration. The warm weather and landscape classes on the beach suited him.
Trahern embarks on a career as a freelance illustrator. Then he would take breaks. This was a period of floundering, which in his case was appropriate because he would sometimes go fishing on the coast and sometimes catch flounder.
Married Lori Wolfe on the shores of Lake Murray in SC.
Trahern and his beautiful wife move to Murfreesboro,TN and Trahern continues a career as a freelance illustrator. He pulls many all nighters in order to turn work in on time. He could do that because he was much younger then.
Then he got just a little bit smarter and worked just a little bit harder and he started getting lots of work as an illustrator.
Missouri Mae Frances "Mazie Fran" was born.
 Walton Thomas was born.

Spent the entire year eating all of the rations he had buried in his backyard, preparing for Y2K. Remember Y2K? Sure, it sounds like the name of a rapper now, but back then, no one was sure if their microwaves were going to work and pop popcorn for their evening snack during "a very special episode of E.R."
The Y2K rations ran out so Trahern decided to open the door to the bomb shelter and battle the mutant cockroaches above land to take his house back. To his very pleasant surprise, there were no mutant cockroaches and his wife and kids were still in the house and had been ever since Trahern had fled it one year earlier.
The kids had changed a lot and Trahern told his wife that she had not changed at all in an attempt to smooth over that whole "fleeing the house and locking himself up in the bomb shelter for a year thing."
 The illustration continues.
Trahern and his family move back to Columbia,SC. They buy a farm.
Trahern continues to illustrate. He is currently writing his own stories in hopes of one day publishing his own children's book stories. Until then, he continues to update his bio on his website as accurately as possible.
